SCOPE & PURPOSE 

DePaul University’s Center for Financial Services has partnered with the Alliance of Merger and Acquisition Advisors (AM&AA) to offer a unique perspective on the middle marketplace for mergers and acquisitions. This partnership represents the frst and only advanced educational program for business leaders and advisory professionals.

As business sellers and buyers are often left to their own devices to make important decisions, this five-day program has been designed to specifcally address a large and highly fragmented market of mergers and acquisitions ranging in $5m-$500m in transaction value.  During this program, industry experts will offer their views on current and future trends; DePaul faculty and practicing M&A instructors provide content that address both theoretical and applicable topics and tools in the real world of M&A. The synergy of this partnership represents the highest quality of available knowledge and thought leadership for middle market M&A services.

At the end of the program, participants will receive a Certifcate of Completion from DePaul’s Life Long Learning department. Participants who are both qualifed and experienced as a business professional may also elect to take the exam. Those who successfully pass the exam will be awarded an advanced professional credential “Certified Merger & Acquisition Advisor” (CM&AA) and membership to the AM&AA.
