About Us

The Center for Financial Services bridges the theoretical and the practical; integrally involves industry leaders in designing and executing educational and training programs; and uses the distinct knowledge base of DePaul faculty in providing high quality business education to a diverse, Chicago-based student population.

Mission: 

• Develop students and practitioners via rigorous, innovative undergraduate, graduate, and post-graduate curricula responsive to the marketplace and informed by research.
•  Provide a forum for the deliberation of policy issues among the policy makers and industry leaders that reflects a dynamic partnership.
•  Develop and implement a financial literacy program that both benefits the Chicago community and serves as a model for other urban environments.
•  Study and address the national and international banking and financial services issues relevant to the financial services industry.
