CFO Holiday Party

Thanks for joining us to celebrate the holiday season and networking with fellow alumni, current students and DePaul faculty and staff. Ticket proceeds from each attendee received a benefit of equal or greater value, which included an open bar with beer, wine, soft drinks and antipasti. Proceeds supported the CFO Scholarship Fund.

March 2012 - Haymarket Beer Tasting

It was a wonderful time and we had approximately 30 people in attendance.  The beer selection was outstanding and the strong attendance provided numerous opportunities to network with both old and new colleagues.  Special thanks to Amhir Hidalgo and Voula Moragiannis who organized CFO's Beer Tasting event held at Haymarket in the West Loop.  You did a wonderful job and make it look easy to boot!

Mickey Martin:

I was pleasantly surprised to learn that DePaul's Circle of Finance Opportunities had a vast and loyal network of members eager to share their experiences, and help fellow alumni. While actively enrolled in DePaul's finance program the event exposed me to professionals in the industry that were willing to lend a helping hand, and answer all of my questions. I'm already looking forward to next CFO event where I hope to build lasting relationships amongst finance professionals in the Chicagoland area!

Dave Winkler:

I was surprised that the majority of participants at the CFO event were graduates who were already in the workforce. It provided many more opportunities to find useful networking contacts than the socials that are primarily filled with undergraduate students. I'm looking forward to the next event!

Humberto Perez:

I had a great time meeting, mingling, and networking with industry professionals from several different fields of Finance at the CFO Beer Tasting event. It was great having the opportunity to build the necessary networking skills to uncover career opportunities and share industry knowledge. I think it is important for DePaul alumni to come together and support each other and current students so we can increase our competitive advantage.
